(By Cao Siqing) The scores of college entrance exam 2014 have been unveiled. It’s once again a time of great harvest. The data and the scores come as a happy surprise. A miracle is identified, which is created by three students from Class 2, Grade 3 of senior high of our school, with Shao Xin scoring 442 (undergraduate college of 2nd grade) while scoring 471 in the junior high graduation exam, Wang Yan scoring 462 (undergraduate college of 2nd grade) while scoring 491 in the junior high graduation exam, and Zhou Xuefei scoring 389 (undergraduate college of 1st grade for fine arts) while scoring 420 in the junior high graduation exam.
The three students named above have been deeply disappointed by their scores in the junior high graduation exam, to the point of even considering giving up their further study in a senior high school. After much consultation, they came to know AFLS is an excellent school for students to grow up with its educational ideal being “cultivation of hope for every family and creation of future for every student.” Therefore, they made up their mind in choosing AFLS as the school for their senior high education. In the past three years, they made use of the high-quality educational resources provided by it, carefully cultivated by the devoted teachers here at AFLS and gradually influenced by quality environment created by the school. In a short time, they adapted well to such an environment for study, fully understood the importance of study, then changed their attitudes toward study, improved their methods for study, and enhanced their study efficiency. Moreover, the strict discipline of AFLS forced them to leave internet cafes and mobile phones as far away as possible, making it one of their habits to resist the various temptations of the outside world. As a result, their scores have increased steadfastly.
The success of the three students is just a reflection of the improvements achieved by AFLS students at large. Their success is a sufficient proof that miracles can be created here at AFLS, and that AFLS is capable of changing the failure of students in their junior high graduation exams into success in their college entrance exams. Miracle belongs to those who work hard and steadfast here at AFLS.
